Customs formalities
Both import and export require customs formalities with many different types of documents. These documents may also differ per country and product. Our customs declarants are specialized in these regulations and organize the necessary documents for your shipment. In this way, the import, export and transit of your loads takes place quickly and effectively.
Our customs department is AEO certified and supports and advises with regard to all customs obligations and additional matters. These play an important role in the logistics process.
In-house Customs
Because we have an in-house customs department and short lines with our logistics experts in the field of forwarding and project logistics, we can switch quickly. This way you will be completely unburdened in the entire logistics process.
When you do business with us, Steder Group is your single point of contact. We arrange everything for you with customs. If it applies to your cargo, we also maintain contact with the inspection points. So you only need to provide us with the necessary information and we will take care of the rest.
Customs documentation
In addition to the declarations for your import and export, sometimes transport documents, veterinary documents, origin documents (Eur-1, ATR, ATA-Carnet, Legalization of documentation) waivers, or documents for dangerous substances are required. Our customs experts can also prepare these documents for you. A common transport document is a T1 document. This is necessary when goods are transported from outside the EU, through a country/countries within the EU and are only cleared at the destination.
Veterinary Inspections
Some shipments require an inspection before the shipment is accepted. For this, the shipment must be inspected at an inspection point. We have a fixed number of inspection locks at various inspection points and can thus guarantee a quick inspection of your goods.
Fixed flow of goods
Do you have a fixed flow of goods with several shipments per month? Then we set up a work process for you. You will receive a workflow from us in which the process is clearly explained step-by-step for all parties. In addition, we can automate the process, which saves a lot of time for both you and us. We can agree an attractive rate for larger volumes.
Brexit
The Brexit-deal is a fact. After 9 months of negotiations, the EU and the UK reached an agreement on their future relationship on December 24, 2020. This has consequences for your logistics. We at Steder Group are happy to help you. Learn more about it on our Brexit page
